Contest for Canadian architects and designers Win a Stûv fireplace !
Stûv America launched a major contest on April 1 offering Canadian architects and designers a chance to win a Stûv 21/85 SF fireplace worth $7,995! All entries are also eligible to win one of two Saeco coffee machines, worth $300 each.
To win the grand prize, participants must purchase a Stûv fireplace and have it installed between April 1 and November 30, 2010. They must then submit the proof of purchase, accompanied by three professional photos of the project. Visitors to the Stûv America Website will vote online between December 6 and 16 for the project they feel is the most successful architectural integration. The contest winner will be announced December 17, 2010, at noon, and will be featured in a promotional campaign aimed at the design industry and general media across Canada.

CONTEST RULES Win a Stûv fireplace!
From April 1st to November 30th, 2010
1. HOW TO PARTICIPATE
To participate in the contest Win a Stûv fireplace!, designers or architects must fill out a form and submit it accompanied by a plan showing the specifications of a Stûv fireplace approved in Canada. Participants will then have a chance to win one of two Saeco coffee machines according to participation criteria cited in paragraph number 3.
In order to qualify to win the grand prize, a Stûv 21/85SF fireplace, participants will be required to submit proof of purchase as well as three (3) photos of the completed installation between April 1st and November 30th, 2010. Visitors of the Stûv America website will be able to vote for the project, which according to them, demonstrates the most beautiful architectural integration.
One project per registration form. More than one project per participant will be accepted.
To be valid, all participation forms as well as photos must be received by e-mail before November 30th, 2010, 5:00 PM (EST).
Participation forms become the property of Stûv America and are not returned to the participants.
The installation of a Stûv fireplace approved in Canada is required to take part in this contest.
2. ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS
The contest is open to designers and architects belonging to an association or a professional association recognized in Canada. Participants must reside in Canada and have reached the age of majority by province or territory at the time of their participation in the contest. Officers or employees of Stûv America, as well as their immediate family (mother-father, brother-sister, son-daughter) or persons living under the same roof are not eligible for this contest.
3. PRIZE DISTRIBUTION MODE
During the contest period, the general public will be able to see all project pictures which we have submitted between April 1st and November 30th, 2010 on Stûv America’s Facebook page at : http://www.facebook.com/home.php?#!/pages/Stuv-America/239430744732.
On Monday December 6th, all the projects will be posted on Stûv America’s website (www.stuvamerica.com) and anyone wishing to do so can vote for the project which they believe portrays the best architectural integration for a Stûv fireplace. Votes will be accepted until December 16th at 5:00 PM (EST). Only one vote per person will be accepted. The project which has received the most votes will earn the first prize, a Stûv21/85SF fireplace valued at approximately $7 995.
The winner of the contest will be announced on December 17th, 2010 at noon (EST).
The winner will be contacted by phone On December 17th and will be required to claim the prize, according to Stûv America instructions, within 1 year of the time at which he or she was contacted for the first time. If the prize has not been claimed within a year or the participant cannot be reached within a 1 month period, the prize will be given to the second participant with the most votes.
Two Saeco coffee machines valued at $300 will also be awarded for participation, the first on August 3rd, 2010 at noon (EST) for participants having registered between April 1st and July 31st, 2010 and the other on December 1st, 2010 at noon (EST) for participants having registered between August 1st and November 30th, 2010.
Winners will be contacted by phone following the draw and the coffee machine will be delivered within a month of the initial contact. Should the winner be unreachable within a one (1) month period, a new draw will take place.
4. PRIZE DESCRIPTION

5. GENERAL RULES
5.1 As for the coffee machine draws, each participant, randomly drawn, must first answer correctly a mathematical skill testing question.
5.2 Each winner must consent to have his/her name and/or image, including his/her photo and/or voice be used for publicity purposes, and this, without remuneration.
5.3 Each participant must sign a document attesting to his/her eligibility as specified in paragraph 2 of the present rules and free Stûv America of all responsibility regarding damage or a loss arising from the participation in this contest or arising from the acceptance or use of the prize.
5.4 The prize must be accepted as is. No substitution will be allowed.
5.5 If unable to supply the prize as described in these rules, Stûv America reserves the right to substitute the prize in whole or in part with a prize or prizes of an approximate equal value.
5.6 Refusal to accept the prize releases Stûv America of all responsibility vis-à-vis the winner.
5.7 Any false declaration on the part of a participant automatically disqualifies him/her from the contest.
5.8 Stûv America assumes no liability resulting in losses, delays, mistaken home or e-mail addresses received, printing errors, computer or telephone technical malfunctions, damage to software or computer equipment, fraudulent calls or any other error.
5.9 Stûv America assumes no liability of any nature whatsoever in any case where their inability to act results from an act or situation unforeseeable or beyond their control, including strikes, lockouts or other labor disputes at their location or the locations of the organizations or companies whose services are used for holding this contest.
5.10 Personal information such as names, full mailing addresses, phone numbers, e-mail addresses and age are only recorded for the administration of the present contest. By providing this information, participants agree to their use for the specified purposes. Please refer to our privacy policy which is available on demand.

5.12 Any dispute regarding the organization or the manner by which a publicity contest is managed may be submitted to the Régie des alcools, des courses et des Jeux for a ruling. Any litigation regarding the awarding of a prize may be submitted to the Régie des alcools, des courses et des jeux only for the purpose of helping the parties reach a settlement.
5.13 Participation in the contest implies acceptance of the present regulations. Stûv America is responsible for their implementation and all decisions are final.
